Straight from the Table

Organically Sourced

My creative journey has never moved in a straight line, and I've stopped pretending it should. It runs through classrooms and kitchen tables, coastal communities and city neighborhoods, hospitality floors and nonprofit strategy sessions, curriculum design and brand development. Through spaces that shaped how I see people, how I listen, and how I build. Through moments of deep belonging and the harder ones that taught me just as much about what it means to make room for someone else.

Every chapter added something. The classrooms taught me to read a room and meet people where they are. The hospitality industry taught me that belonging is built through consistency and care, not announcements. The curriculum work taught me that the best ideas are the ones that feel inevitable in retrospect. And the communities I have called home, from New York City to the Oregon Coast and beyond, taught me that the places people overlook are often the ones most worth showing up for.

The throughline isn't a list of jobs. It's a table. And I've been setting it, dining at it, and making sure there's always room for one more, my whole life
